Regardless of the jury's verdict.....


I have come to the conclusion that all my childhood heros are/were cheaters. And that makes me very sad.

    Don't be sad. They all just used what was available to enhance their already tremendous ability. I think I'm in the minority but if you're a pro in any field, you use the best tools available. I'm sure in the same situation most of us would have done the same.

    'Cheating' happens in sports all the time. I've never seen a catcher correct an umpire or a first baseman say 'actually he was safe'. These guys will do whatever they can to win and that's fine by me. It's their win at all costs mentality that seperates them from the lesser atheletes. That's my .02.
