The best thing is that at long last there can be no excuses about the AL East being the reason for no playoffs and the best Ontario whine can return to the Niagara region where it belongs.

ReplyDeleteSometimes he just doesn't get it, the excuse "about the AL East being the reason for no playoffs" doesn't go away until there is a balanced schedule.
The extra playoff spot would pretty much guarantee the Jays would make the playoffs if they were in any other division, but since they are in the AL East and have to play Boston, Tampa and NY 19 times each, this will negatively effect their wins and it is still unlikely that they will make the playoffs even with the extra wild card
