Time Is Running Out.....

Alright Jays fans, your time to show the world just how smart you really are is almost up. The 2nd Annual 25 Roster Challenge is upon us. At the stroke of midnight tonight, your chance to enter will have passed.

The rules are simple. All you need to do is give us your 2011 Opening Day 25 man roster. That's it. In the event of a tie, you will need to name the closer. After all the participants are identified, we will add a poll and everyone gets to vote on who they think will be the winner. On the line are bragging rights for not only the contest results but also the vote.

For those of you who have already entered a ballot this is your opportunity to make any changes if you see fit. We did add this guy (who may have one of the greatest nicknames ever) on a minor league deal. Something to consider.

Hope you can join us and play. Good luck.

  1. I have my roster over at my blog http://pitchersbestfriend.wordpress.com

    It goes as such:
    Romero, Morrow, Cecil, Drabek, Rzepczynski
Rauch, Purcey, Camp, Frasor, Dotel, Janssen, Francisco (closer)

    Snider, Davis, Rivera, Podsednik
Lind, Encarnacion, Hill, Bautista, Escobar, McDonald, McCoy
    Arencibia, Molina

It was between McCoy and Patterson for that last spot, and although I like Patterson as a late inning defensive replacement, I went with McCoy.

  7. Do you mean that their are people that still think someone other than Frank Francisco will be the closer?

Regardless my pick is that Fransico will be the closer.
